USU, UT, and UNAND Strengthen Disaster Preparedness of Village Officials through Risk-Based Public Asset Management in Langkat Regency
The Indonesian Collaborative Community Service Program (PMKI), involving 24 State Universities with Legal Entity Status (PTNBH), brought together Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), Universitas Terbuka (UT), and Universitas Andalas (UNAND) to strengthen disaster preparedness in Kutabuluh Village, Langkat Regency. Through a risk-based public asset management approach, the program enhanced the capacity of village officials in disaster mitigation, adaptation, and risk reduction while supporting the achievement of SDGs 1, 2, 3, 4, and 17 through sustainable public asset governance and multi-stakeholder collaboration.
